Privacy Policy
How this website collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Last updated: 28 July 2026
This policy explains how Thomas W. Green ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through thomaswgreen.com. We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us, plus limited technical data that is standard for any website.
Information you give us
When you submit the contact or enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organisation (optional), the area you are interested in, and your message. When you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting collects standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited). We also use a visitor-tracking tool (lemlist) that can identify visits from people who arrive via one of our email campaigns. Anonymous visitors remain anonymous.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide the speaking, advisory, or session you have asked about, send communications you have requested, and improve the website. We do not use it for automated decision-making that affects you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you — for example, our form-processing and email tools (including lemlist) and our website hosting. These providers may store data outside Australia. We only share what is necessary, and we require them to protect it.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses a small amount of tracking to understand engagement, primarily the lemlist visitor-tracking script described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and subscriber information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, and then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from communications at any time. To make a request, email thomas@thomaswgreen.com. If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No online transmission is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date.
